Contribution rules & confirmation

Federal law requires us to make a reasonable effort to confirm that every contribution is legal. Please read and confirm the following before donating:

Individual contributions are limited to $3,500 per election (the primary and general are treated as separate elections). Amounts above the legal limit will not be accepted.
Contributions must come from your own personal funds — never in the name of another person, and never charged to a business or another person’s account.
We cannot accept contributions from corporations, labor organizations, national banks, federal government contractors, or foreign nationals — regardless of amount.
You must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (green-card holder).
If your contributions total more than $200, federal law requires us to collect and report your name, mailing address, occupation, and employer.
